Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM)

Date:

24 August 2023

Time:

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Location:

35 W 4th St., Dayton

What to Expect:

From investors to employees to customers, there are a lot of people who can influence your business. Most of the time these relationships improve your business, but sometimes these influences can increase risk for your company. In this collider we’ll be discussing risks posed by foreign ownership, control, or influence (FOCI) and technology transfer. FOCI can affect your ability to obtain government contracts, lead to a loss of key personnel, or provide the conduit for unwanted technology transfer.

This session provides a complete overview of FOCI, how it will be accessed by DCSA, current AFWERX SBIR implementation plan and how it will be integrated into the DAF’s SCRM framework. We are excited to have the event open with remarks from Dr. Lyndon McKown, Deputy Director, HQ AFMC A4/10.
